Aisha joined the Law Centre in June 2022 having previously worked at Rashid & Rashid Solicitors.
She provides specialist legal advice in all areas of Immigration and Asylum law. She holds the IAAS Law Society accreditation as Supervising Senior Caseworker.
Oscar Leyens
Trainee Solicitor
Oscar joined CCLC in January 2022, after working at Simspon Millar LLP in their Human Rights and Judicial Review Team.
Here he gained experience challenging the suitability of asylum accommodation and pursuing civil claims against public authorities. At CCLC, he runs a caseload of homelessness, possession and disrepair matters. He has a particular interest at the intersection of housing and immigration law.
Before pursuing a career in law, Oscar obtained an MA from the University of Edinburgh in Philosophy, worked as a baker and volunteered as a caseworker at The Unity Project, where he helped migrants gain access to public funds.
When not working or completing his legal studies, Oscar is a keen guitarist and loves playing music with friends, watching movies and eating beigels.
